What really happens during a paranormal investigation, and what is often misunderstood?

Join us at The Russell Library for an honest, behind-the-scenes look at how modern paranormal investigations are actually conducted. This presentation moves beyond television myths and sensationalism to explore the history, methodology, and critical thinking used when investigating claims of unexplained activity.

Attendees will learn how cases are evaluated, what equipment is truly useful versus hype, how environmental and psychological factors are ruled out, and why skepticism and documentation are essential parts of responsible research. Real case examples and investigative insights will be shared to help you understand what investigators look for, and what they don’t. You'll get to see evidence from investigations done at The Russell Library as well, including a recent investigation done in late March of this year!

Whether you are curious, skeptical, or fascinated by the unknown, this discussion offers a grounded perspective on a subject that is often misunderstood.

Come ready to question, learn, and explore the process behind investigating the unexplained.

This program is suitable for teens and adults.
