Hang with the Chicks

Meet our new baby chicks! Rent the Egg's Hatch the Chicken program is partnering with Russell Library to help us incubate and then hatch chicken eggs. The eggs will be delivered on Tuesday, July 1st, 2025. Expect hatching occurs around Tuesday, July 22nd. The chicks will live in the kids department until pick-up by their mother farm on Tuesday, August 5th. On this Saturday afternoon, come visit with the chicks and learn about them from staff members.
