Safe Haven: Understanding Boundaries is a 20–30 minute story time-based program designed for children ages 5–12 and their families. Through engaging read-aloud, guided discussions, and optional take-home materials, the program gently introduces key concepts like personal boundaries, body autonomy, safe choices, and trusted adults.
Created by New Horizons Domestic Violence Services, Safe Haven supports open, age-appropriate conversations about safety and respect in a way that is empowering, positive, and non-traumatizing.
