Week Calendar

Come play with us at the Library!  Join us each week to connect with other families and explore the power of play.  A variety of toys will be out for free play including building materials, crafts, sensory toys and imaginative

Join us for a fun family storytime where we will read books and share rhymes and songs for kids birth to 6 years old and their families. 

Join us for stories, songs, friends, and free play. Drop-in, no registration required. Recommended for children ages 0-5, siblings welcome. 

Families can drop in to the Activity Room to play with our life size Lincoln Logs and Jumbo Blue Blocks from 10:00-4:00! Other building blocks and toys will be available for free play as well.  

Come join us for a ride on the Polar Express as it travels to the North Pole for the holidays. We will enjoy a reading of the classic story The Polar Express with special guest Conductor Phil Pessina. Come dressed in your pajamas.

Love chess or just want to learn? All ages and abilities are welcome at our new Russell Library Chess Club. Local chess expert and author Sal Berrios will be leading. Drop-in, no registration required. 

Russell Library is very excited to present our newest library fundraiser, A Christmas Carol, performed by the East Haddam Stage Company in the library's historic Reading Room.
