Program Description

Event Details

Russell Library is very excited to present our newest library fundraiser, A Christmas Carol, performed by the East Haddam Stage Company in the library's historic Reading Room.

This adaptation is a traditional retelling of Charles’ Dickens beloved Christmas classic. Described as “magical and ethereal” by the play’s director, Kandie Carle, this Victorian ghost story is perfect for our Victorian building. Written specifically to be performed in Russell Library, the play takes advantage of the balconies and ramps and multiple entry and exit points to bring actors in from all around the audience. You never know where a ghost will appear!

Tickets for this library fundraiser are $50. Tickets will only be sold online. There are 80 seats per show.

All shows start at 7pm and will run one hour.

Please click the links below to purchase tickets. The library will have a list of ticket purchasers and will check you in at the door.
