Calling all kids ages 8-14! Join us for a new session of our popular Science Saturday program designed just for you. This program is all about getting hands-on with amazing science and learning in a playful and engaging environment. Each month focuses on a different science topic, from chemical reactions to fossils, and features experiments, demonstrations, and take-home projects. It's like we've brought a science museum to the library!
This month: what do you know about states of matter? Join us to explore the science of solid, liquid, gas, and even plasma! Every child will conduct several hands-on experiments with the help of expert science educators. Using awesome science tools we'll instantly turn a liquid into a solid, make a non-Newtonian fluid you can take home, and create light using only gas!
This program is sponsored by the Teen Violence Prevention Grant, courtesy of the YMCA.
